Academic Background

I hold a Ph.D. in Government from Georgetown University, a M.T.S. from the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry (formerly the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts), and a B.A./M.A. from Boston University. I have also studied at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques and the Institut Catholique, both in Paris, at the University of Coimbra, and at the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
